Kids football academy invests in Priority Space unit
Doncaster sporting entrepreneur Ben Hunter has expanded his hugely successful UK-wide football academy in his hometown - investing in one of our new units at Platinum Park.
Kixx is a fun and educational football programme designed for children aged from just 18 months to ten-years-old. The enterprise now owns a 2250 sq ft space which provides them with a modern, secure and accessible HQ and storage space.
Kixx football sessions provide a fun environment where children of all ages can learn and perfect their football skills – and so much more. The sessions are designed to encourage them to develop a positive sense of themselves, respect for others, a disposition to learn new skills, and a sense of pride in their ability to master them. Kixx coaching is open to all abilities, whether they’re a newbie to football, or a pro at keepy-uppies.
Priority Space director Lee Buchanan said: “We are delighted to see Kixx take on one of our units at Platinum Park.
“What a fantastic business to have on site. We hope the new space will help them consolidate the excellent work they’re doing with children and young families in Doncaster and across the country.”
Ben Hunter turned his attention to football coaching after injury ended his own professional footballing career which saw him gain a football scholarship to the USA and represent Great Britain at the World University Games.
He played against the likes of David Beckham and Gareth Barry in competitive matches as a young man. He now holds a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Early Years development.
His business concept, Kixx, runs hundreds of weekly football sessions across the UK. Led by fully qualified coaches, all sessions aim to develop children’s physical and social skills and promote an active, healthy lifestyle, following a shared ethos of ‘Kixx Family Values’, To find out more, visit the Kixx website and for more information about sessions in Doncaster visit the Kixx Doncaster Facebook page
