Confined space rescue specialists choose Doncaster for northern base
A confined space safety and rescue specialist has taken on a northern base in Doncaster to expand its vital services across the UK.
Rescue 2 Ltd has agreed a deal on a 13,000 sq ft unit at newly-constructed Jubilee Park, built alongside Platinum Park, by developer Priority Space in partnership with HG Sites.
Rescue 2, who provide rescue, training and utilities services, already has an established base in West Sussex and will use this second site as a springboard for growth - extending its specialist consultancy services and 24/7 rescue services across the UK.
Ashley Goodlad from Rescue 2 Ltd said: “With sites in both the south and north, we are strategically positioned to elevate our services across all regions. Our dual presence allows us to scale up to meet corporate demands on a national level.
“We can now offer gold standard, bespoke and necessary rescue, utilities, training, and management provision, to clients across the country.”
The company has joined new tenant PPE provider Skanwear at Jubilee Park, who recently moved into a 16,000 sq ft unit to upsize its operations in South Yorkshire; as well as other occupiers across the two sites including Jones Electrical, Dynamic CCTV and Assured Group.
Kitty Hendrick, surveyor with Knight Frank Sheffield, who is marketing both the Jubilee and Platinum sites, said: "These units, which are finished to a modern specification and are suitable for a variety of uses, are proving popular.
“Being available for sale, and to let, means the units are attractive to the owner occupier and investor markets whilst also attracting interest from prospective tenants who are interested on a leasehold basis."

Interest in the Platinum and Jubilee Park units, named in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne and Doncaster being granted city status, has been high, with 50 per cent of the units now under offer, let or sold, leaving eight units remaining from 1,759 sq ft to 29,790 sq ft.
The site is located six miles from the city centre and close to the M1 and M18.
